"And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence." (Colossians 1:18)
As we embark upon the journey life will take us on in 2009, let's ask God to have preeminence in every area of our lives. Personally, that means giving Him preeminence over
- Your thoughts
- Your conversations
- Your attitude
- Your home life
- Your relationship with your spouse and children
- Your playtime
Here at Union Mission, we've dedicated ourselves to making Christ preeminent in our ministry. But how often to we make it a priority in our daily conduct? Placing Christ over all that we do to help feed people in our area is, of course, of the greatest importance. Yet we often forget the personal nature of our relationship with Jesus. To be truly effective ambassadors to those in need requires a personal devotion to making Him preeminent over all aspects of our lives.
What is your personal plan to making Christ preeminent in your life in 2009? Share your thoughts with us!
