Food Fight Winners

After it was all said and done, this year's Food Fight truly knocked out hunger in our community.

All told, more than 30,000 food items were brought in during the three-week food-raising competition; the items are now being sorted into baskets that we'll give away during our Thanksgiving food distribution on Saturday.

The winners were:

• Ticketmaster (Grand Champion, and Business Division): 15,792 cans of green beans
• Teays Valley Christian School (School Division): 2,820 cans of peas
• Amy Baptist Church (Church Division): 1,488 cans of peas
• Union Mission Crossroads (Organization Division): 1,275 cans of assorted vegetables

We are so thrilled at the efforts of all of our teams. Nearly 30 teams participated, bringing in a whopping 30,786 food items. Thank you for your efforts, God bless, and we can't wait to do it again next year!
