Missionary-minded

Think of missionaries, and your mind inevitable conjures images of men, women and their families working for God in the Third World.

Our mission field is Appalachia. It's where we've been called to minister, and we're blessed that we're called to serve God here.

Recently, one of the teachers in our program, passed around this "prayer guide" for missionaries. It struck him as useful for those who would like to join us as a prayer partner for our ministry. (Thanks, Alan!)

Pray for power

* Power in proclaiming God's truth

* Power in changing people's lives

Pray for protection

* Physical

*Spiritual

Pray for provision

* Financially, that we receive the adequate support we need

* Materially, that materials donated will be useful in ministry

Pray for personnel

* Family (our families, because of their sacrifice, are as much in ministry as we are!)

* Co-workers (unity among Believers)

Pray for productive ministry

* For doors to open

* For that which we currently have

* For that which we need
